The World Awaits...

Updated: May 17, 2019

Packing: I’ve always found it to be quite enjoyable. I know, you think I sound crazy, but hear me out on this. Packing a suitcase represents the concreteness of your upcoming trip and with it comes the anticipation and the excitement to get away from wherever you are. Packing implies you are going somewhere and for the most part, packing means vacation. My packing regimen typically consists of too many over-organized lists of clothes, shoes, toiletries, and electronics that I’ll need during my time away, wherever it is I may end up. I tend to overprepare when it comes to most things and packing for a trip comes as no exception. So as this week-long trip abroad to London draws nearer, I have found myself creating lists upon lists of outfits, comfortable walking shoes and rain boots, shampoo and conditioner, and things to keep me entertained on the flights, to pack in my suitcase and my carry-on bag.

Have you ever missed a place you’ve never been before? Well, if you have and don’t think I have lost my mind, the place I find myself longing for, is London, England. I am trying not to get my hopes up to avoid any feelings of disappointment, but the idea of getting on a plane is enough to get my hopes up in itself. I am pretty stoked about the fact that I am flying across the ocean to spend a week in a city that is on my bucket list with two of my best friends. The three of us are adventurers and have found ourselves traveling to new places and doing new things relatively often, so being able to go to London together is, to put it lightly, the ultimate travel experience for us.
